As a partnership of the Lancaster Public Library and the Library System of Lancaster County, the DSBC is one of the Business Information Services provided by the Lancaster County public libraries to help support local businesses, create employment opportunities and grow the Lancaster County economy.  

Another business resource developed by the Library System of Lancaster is Lancaster MarketEdge.  This service provides a number of services including specialized training such as the Competitive Intelligence Certification program.
